On the morning of June 13, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Vietnam 9-ton feed factory project undertaken by RICHI was officially held. As a dedicated feed supply base for chicken farms and pig farms within the customer company, this project undertakes the feed supply task of supporting farms, which puts higher requirements on the safety and timeliness of feed supply.

At present, the civil engineering of the animal feed factory project is in full swing. The main workshop of the project is expected to be capped before August and officially put into production and operation in October. The project plans to be equipped with 2 1,500-ton steel plate raw material silos, introduce 1 leading pelletizing production line and 1 raw material puffing line from RICHI, and is expected to produce 90,000 tons of efficient compound feed per year.

After the completion of the Senegal 100,000-ton animal feed production line project, the entire feed factory equipment and control system will be provided by RICHI Machinery. Recently, RICHI signed a 10 t/h straw pellet mill line project with a large agricultural product company in Kazakhstan. The project invested US$650,000, using the existing factory area and buildings to purchase production equipment such as crushers, granulators, fans, and forklifts for production. After the project is completed and reaches production, it will have an annual production capacity of 80,000 tons of straw biomass pellets.

Our customized production process for customers is as follows:

  1. Raw materials

The raw materials of this straw pellet mill plant project come from wheat straw, crop straw, corn straw, soybean straw, peanut straw, waste formwork, etc. from surrounding rural areas. The purchased and bundled straw is transported to the factory area and temporarily stored in the raw material warehouse in the project area. The purchased bales of straw are delivered to the raw material warehouse through loaders, forklifts, etc., and are manually loaded and unloaded onto the conveyor. The straw conveyor adopts a closed structure. Some raw materials with higher moisture content will be dried in the drying field before use.

  1. Crushing

Wheat straw, crop straw, corn straw, soybean straw, peanut straw, and waste templates are crushed by a crusher. After crushing, they can be granulated. The raw materials after crushing are less than 5mm.

  1. Granulation and molding

The extrusion pellet machine is a key equipment in the turnkey pellet plant. This equipment can be used for different raw materials such as rice and wheat straw, sawdust, corn straw, soybean straw, cotton straw and peanut shells, and the equipment operates stably. The density of processed pellet fuel can reach 0.7 to 1.4 tons/cubic meter. The crushed materials are transported to the silo of the extrusion pellet machine through a closed feeding dragon. The silo is connected to the feeding chamber. Under the joint action of the feeder and scraper, the material is evenly spread on the ring die, and then the material is extruded.

Entering the die hole, the material undergoes processes such as forming and shape retention in the die hole. Due to the increase in pressure in the granulator, the particles themselves deform and flow plastically, and generate a large amount of heat under the action of friction, causing the lignin contained in the raw materials to soften and the adhesive force to increase. The softened lignin and the inherent properties in the biomass. The combined action of cellulose gradually shapes the biomass.

After a certain period of time, it is extruded in a cylindrical shape. The rotating cutter cuts the material into a cylindrical shape and sends it out through the discharge port. This project does not add binders during the compression molding process.

  1. Cooling

The temperature of biomass straw pellet fuel is as high as 80-90°C during granulation and discharging. The structure is relatively loose and easily broken. It must be cooled by an air cooling system and cooled to normal temperature before being bagged and stored. It is sent to the cooling machine through the belt conveyor for cooling. The moving chain plate drives the particles to move. There is an air inlet at the lower part and a fan at the upper part. The cooling is completed in 2-3 minutes. The cold sealing process is completed inside the pellet machine. The pellet machine is closed and does not produce dust.

  1. Packaging and storage

This design uses a packaging conveyor for measurement, tape packaging, and delivery to the finished product warehouse.
