Animal feed manufacturing machines are mainly involved in the processing, crushing, mixing, granulation or puffing, cooling, screening, packaging and other processes of raw materials. They mainly include silos, cleaning equipment, conveying equipment, crushers, mixers, batching scales, granulators, extruders, coolers, dryers, vibrating screens, packaging scales, etc.

Silo system
Depending on functional requirements, silos can be used to store raw materials, or they can serve as buffer or temporary storage warehouses during processing.
Cleaning machine
The cleaning of raw materials ensures a problem-free total process and a high quality semi finished or end product.
Crushing machine
Grinding or particle-size reduction is a major function of feed manufacturing, enhancing the mixing process and ensuring the desired pellet quality. Hammer mills and superfine grinders are often used.
Mixing machine

Pelletizing/extrusion machine

Drying machine

Cooling & Crumbling machine

Can the same animal feed manufacturing machine be used to process fish feed and poultry feed?
It depends on the type of fish feed you want to process. If you are processing ordinary hard-granular fish feed, such as sinking fish feed pellets, then you can use common livestock and poultry feed equipment, and even the process can be the same. (However, in order to process higher quality fish feed, many customers will use secondary crushing, and will configure automatic batching, oil addition system and spraying system, etc.)
But it is well known that fish feed usually requires higher degree of maturation and gelatinization. Therefore, if a ring die pelletizer is used, at least 2 layers of conditioners are required.
In addition, if you want to process extruded feed, the equipment is very different from that for processing poultry feed, because the process is fundamentally different. On the basis of poultry feed equipment, generally, ultrafine grinders, fish feed dryers, sprayers are added, and the fish feed pelletizer is replaced with a single screw extruder or a twin screw extruder.
