Raw material receipt:

Wood arrives at the plant via truck and is sent to the wood storage yard, the wood circle (where wood is primed for processing), the piles of sawdust and wood chip, or straight into processing.

Bark is removed and kept for fuel:

Logs are fed into a debarker machine, which beats the logs together inside a large drum to remove the bark. The bark is put aside and used to fuel the wood chip dryer, used later in the process.

Turning wood stems become small chips

The logs – low-value fibers from sustainably managed working forests – need to be cut down into even smaller pieces so they can then be shredded into the fine material needed for creating pellets. Pellets should be screened for fines before packaging or delivery. The fines can be returned to the production line. It is also possible to ship the pellets in one tonne bags or in bulk.

  2. Pressing: The crushed materials enter the pelleting machine through the belt conveyor. The lignin is the structural monomer in the material and is a phenylpropanoid-type polymer compound. It has the function of strengthening cell walls and binding cellulose. Lignin is amorphous, and its main part is insoluble in any solvent at room temperature. It has no melting point, but has a softening point.
    When the temperature reaches a certain value, the lignin softens and the bonding force increases, and under a certain pressure, the cellulose molecular groups are dislocated, deformed, and extended. The adjacent biomass particles inside are meshed with each other, reassembled and suppressed.
