Recently, RICHI signed a 1-ton straw pellet production line project in Australia. The pellets processed in this project will be mainly used as fuel for the customer’s tire factory for its own use. The project covers an area of 451 square meters, with a total construction area of 858.7 square meters.

It is built using the original factory buildings and is mainly divided into production workshops, warehouses, comprehensive office buildings, etc. After the project is fully completed, it can produce 2500t/a of biomass straw pellets.

The winter office heating of this project is provided by a pellet stove, and the drying process of the 1t/h straw pelleting plant project is provided by a hot air stove (the fuel is shaped straw pellets). The total investment in the project is US$120,000.

Recently, the Iranian feed mill expansion project is under construction. It is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024 and officially put into production in the third quarter, adding 60,000 tons of production capacity. This project is the fourth feed factory project undertaken by RICHI Machinery, following projects such as a 2-ton fish feed production line, a 5-ton chicken feed production line, and a 5-ton puffed feed production line.

The project covers an area of 10 acres and the project investment is US$760,000. The planning and design is based on meeting the feed production requirements of the project, and is designed based on the surrounding regional conditions. The unique temperament of the camp is selected while taking into account requirements such as energy conservation, environmental protection, and high efficiency. The goal is to build a new feed production enterprise with a demonstration role in modern new agriculture.

Recently, the 12T/H floating fish and 8T/H sinking fish feed production lines undertaken by RICHI in Thailand passed the environmental impact assessment and are about to start construction.

Construction content of the project: The main buildings include production workshops, raw material warehouses, finished product warehouses, machine repair rooms, boiler rooms, etc., including 2 puffed fish feed production lines and 1 pellet fish feed production line. The main raw and auxiliary materials are soybean meal, cotton meal, Rapeseed meal, flour, corn, distiller’s grains, peanut meal, soybean oil, minerals, vitamins, etc. The production scale is 40,000 tons/year of pellet fish feed and 60,000 tons/year of puffed fish feed. The total project investment is US$1.3 million.

The environmental protection measures for this project are as follows:

  • Wastewater treatment measures:
    • One third-level septic tank treats domestic sewage. Volume 31m3. The desulfurization and denitrification water generated during the production process of this project is recycled and not discharged. The living area of this project relies on the client company’s dormitories, office buildings, and canteens.
    • The domestic wastewater generated is treated by the feed company’s third-level septic tanks and third-level grease traps, and then discharged into the municipal sewage pipe network and eventually into the local sewage Treatment plant for further processing. The desulfurization and denitrification water is recycled and not discharged.
  • Waste gas treatment measures:
    • The dust waste gas generated during raw material crushing and other processes is treated with a cyclone dust collector + pulse bag dust collector and then discharged to high altitude through two exhaust pipes with a height of 40m.
    • The dust waste gas generated during drying, cooling and other processes is treated with a cyclone dust collector and then discharged to high altitude through four exhaust pipes with a height of 21m. Dust ≤120mg/m3.
    • The dust generated by this project mainly comes from the crushing and mixing of various raw materials during the production process. The customer company sets up dust collection hoods at each dust-generating point in the crushing section of this project, and discharges the dust through the air inlet into the cyclone dust collector + pulse bag dust collector. The treated exhaust gas passes through two 40-meter-high exhaust pipes.
    • The top of the workshop is discharged to high altitude; after the exhaust gas from the drying and cooling section is processed by the cyclone dust collector, it is discharged to high altitude through two 21-meter-high exhaust pipes.
    • This project is equipped with a 20t/h coal-fired boiler. After the boiler exhaust gas is dusted by a pulse bag dust collector, alkaline desulfurization, and non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) denitrification, it is discharged through a 45-meter-high chimney. Online pollutant monitoring equipment has been installed at the boiler exhaust gas outlet. Pulse bag dust collector is used for dust removal, lime gypsum method for desulfurization, and non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) denitrification. The exhaust gas is discharged through a 45m high exhaust pipe.
  • Noise treatment measures:
    • Take sound insulation and vibration reduction measures for major noise equipment, and make full use of the sound insulation of the factory building. Daytime: ≤65dB(A), nighttime: ≤55dB(A). The noise during the operation period of this project mainly comes from crushers, various fans, mixers and other equipment.
    • By selecting low-noise equipment, the project reasonably optimized the layout, placed the main noise source equipment indoors, and adopted sound insulation and vibration reduction measures to reduce the impact of noise on the surrounding environment.
  • ​Solid waste treatment measures:
    • Employees’ domestic waste is collected in designated trash bins and transported by sanitation trucks for proper disposal. The dust collected by the dust collector in the production workshop of this project is reused in production.
    • The construction unit will send the boiler ash and smoke collected by the dust collector to other units as road construction materials to achieve comprehensive utilization. Domestic waste and non-recyclable packaging materials generated by the project will be sent to the domestic waste landfill for disposal by the industrial park where it is located. The project uses NaOH desulfurization instead of the lime method proposed during the environmental impact assessment.
    • The sodium sulfate produced dissolves in water and no desulfurization gypsum is produced. The dust collected by the dust collector in the production workshop is reused in production. The generated cinder is sold to cement grinding stations or used as paving materials; the desulfurized gypsum is handed over to nearby environmentally friendly brick factories for brick making.

The project is based on the supply of 10 kilograms of feed per day for 100,000 cows in the 8-month wet grass period, with a demand of 120,000 tons, and the supply of 30 kilograms of feed per day for 100,000 cows in the dry grass period for 4 months, with a demand of 180,000 tons.

The construction of the project increased local fiscal revenue and improved land use efficiency. To sum up, the construction of this project is a necessary link and key guarantee for the construction of Guanling cattle.

Recently, RICHI’s British complete compound sheep cattle feed production line project with an annual output of 60,000 tons has been put into production. The total investment in the project is US$810,000. It will be officially put into production in January 2024. It is expected to produce 60,000 tons of complete mixing feed for cattle and sheep annually.

The so-called complete feed refers to the finished feed that contains nutrients that can fully meet the needs of animals for various nutrients and can reach a certain production level. It is also called compound feed. After farmers purchase full-price feed, they can feed it directly without adding any other vitamins and minerals.

The UK client company uses corn straw, wheat straw, vegetable straw and other fibrous feeds as well as corn, soybean meal, etc. as raw materials to process complete compound pellet feed for cattle and sheep, injecting a new concept into ruminant animal breeding – cattle and sheep do not feed grass, but grow but better. After ripening, the complete compound pellet feed is better digested and absorbed by cattle and sheep, has fast weight gain, and has strong disease resistance. Recently, a 10-ton-per-hour livestock and poultry feed production line project in Bangladesh undertaken by Richi Machinery was completed and put into operation. The project started construction in November 2022. Due to special reasons from the customer, the project was officially put into production on January 20, 2024.

The project covers an area of 14 acres and has a total investment of US$680,000. The project has two production lines, a cattle feed production line and a poultry feed production line, including three pelleting lines. They are all currently in production and can meet the local poultry and cattle breeding needs.

This poultry feed mill equipment project will further assist the development of the local agricultural and sideline products processing industry, effectively promote the development of local and surrounding areas’ aquaculture, planting, transportation and catering industries, and generate good economic and social benefits.

As an important supporting project for the local pig ecological breeding industry in Russia, the feed mill project is accelerating construction. It is expected to complete the civil construction and start equipment installation before the Spring Festival.

At present, at the feed mill project site, the civil engineering works and comprehensive building construction of the factory area are accelerating. The foundation pits of 10 feed silos have taken shape, and the total storage capacity will reach 8,000 tons after completion. The equipment foundation pit beams and formwork of the feed storage silos have been tied up. There are a total of 4 large foundation pits with a diameter of 11 meters and 6 small silo foundation pits with a diameter of 7.38 meters. It is expected to be poured in 3 to 4 days.

This feed factory project covers an area of more than 60 acres, with a construction area of about 17,000 square meters, and is designed to produce 500,000 tons of pig feed annually. The project will start construction in July 2023 and is scheduled to be put into operation in the first half of 2024. After the project reaches production, it will provide Russian customers with safe and reliable feed supply for local pig farms.

At present, 70% to 80% of the total project volume has been completed in the underground part of the pig feed mill project. The remaining part of the underground part of the civil engineering work will be completed within 2 months, making full preparations for the subsequent equipment installation.

The client company is a large-scale pig breeding enterprise in Russia. Through the operation model of “company + family farm”, it implements “standardized, large-scale, professional and intelligent” breeding. Up to now, this feed factory is very important in the industrial chain layout of the client company, and has a very important strategic position for local pig breeding.
