0086-138 3838 9622Manufacturing has started on a 6 t/h wet-feed rotary drying system ordered for a Tunisian olive-processing operation.
The new equipment will handle prepared olive pomace generated during oil production. Tunisia’s large olive sector provides the project with a direct industrial raw-material base, but the material cannot be treated as ordinary dry agricultural fiber: moisture, fine solids and residual oil all influence its drying behavior.
The 6 T/H Figure Needs One Important Explanation
It is the agreed wet-material feed basis, not 6 t/h of finished dry residue.
Suppose 6 tonnes of wet material enters the drying section. Part of that mass leaves as evaporated water. The actual dry-material discharge therefore depends on inlet moisture and the customer’s required outlet condition.
That distinction determines burner/heat-source sizing, airflow, drum dimensions and separation capacity.

RICHI Machinery is also providing cleaning and inspection access appropriate to a material that may behave differently from dry sawdust.
The customer has not ordered a complete olive waste pellet plant.
Its first investment solves the moisture bottleneck. After drying, the processor can determine whether the material should enter an energy-use route, further size reduction, storage or another downstream process.
This narrower scope makes the order particularly relevant to processors looking for an olive pomace dryer, olive oil waste drying machine, or a rotary drum dryer for high-moisture agro-industrial residues.
The next workshop milestone will be completion of the drum and drive assemblies before the air-handling and conveying sections are matched to the customer’s approved layout.
