A Czech feed-ingredient processor has ordered a 3 t/h wet-feed drying module from RICHI Machinery for brewer’s spent grain collected from nearby brewing operations.
The customer’s commercial idea begins with a common limitation of wet brewer’s grain: it contains too much water for convenient long-term storage and transport unless it is consumed quickly or stabilized by an appropriate preservation route.
For this project, the customer wants a dried ingredient for subsequent feed-material handling.
Incoming Material
Wet brewer’s spent grain is the principal raw material.
It is not being mixed with straw, sawdust or unrelated biomass simply to make the project look more complex.
The material’s high water content makes moisture removal the central engineering task.
Why 3 T/H Does Not Mean 3 T/H of Dried Product
The new system is based on approximately 3 t/h of wet incoming material under the agreed design condition.
If a large proportion of that mass is water, the dryer must remove the required water before the material reaches its target storage condition.
Therefore:
wet BSG input ≠dry BSG output
The thermal calculation is based on evaporation load.
Equipment Boundary
The ordered module includes controlled wet-material feeding, drying, air/material separation, dry-product transfer and the required dust/air-handling interfaces.
Upstream brewery collection and downstream formulation into complete animal feed are outside the current RICHI scope.
Packaging Comes After Cooling and Stabilization
The customer intends to supply the dried ingredient to feed users.
Depending on final density and buyer requirements, the product can move in commercial sacks, larger bulk bags or bulk form.
RICHI Machinery is therefore not locking the customer into a small retail packing format at the drying stage.
Why This Project Belongs in the Czech Market
The Czech Republic has a substantial brewing tradition and a commercial feed/livestock sector capable of utilizing suitable brewery co-products.
That makes brewer’s spent grain drying equipment, wet distillers/brewery residue dryers, and feed ingredient drying systems meaningful industrial searches rather than artificially constructed SEO terms.
Manufacturing will proceed after the customer’s final inlet-moisture basis and available thermal source are confirmed.
