Recently, a Pakistan energy company signed an agreement with RICHI to launch a biomass pellet project with an annual output of 100,000 tons.

The project will use the rich forest resources in and around its forest management area, including forestry wastes such as tending residues after felling or thinning, felling residues, wood chips, wood scraps, etc., to produce biomass pellet fuel. This initiative aims to improve the comprehensive utilization rate of resources.

Many advantages of biomass pellet fuel. As a renewable energy and alternative fuel, it can not only be used in industrial production, power generation, flue-cured tobacco baking and other fields, but also has the characteristics of high combustion efficiency, stable calorific value and high purity. Compared with traditional fossil fuels, the harmful gas and particulate matter emissions generated during its combustion are lower and more environmentally friendly.

In terms of project construction content, the customer plans to build 2 crushing production lines and 4 pelletizing production lines, and purchase related facilities and equipment, such as crushers, fully automated drying equipment, compression molding equipment, etc.

The project construction links mainly include the selection, procurement and installation of equipment, as well as the renovation of plant (workshop), the construction of new and supporting outdoor yards, roads, walls and other ancillary projects. The construction period of the entire biomass pellet project is expected to be no more than 13 months. The company strives to start construction and complete it within 2025.

The main construction content of the project includes: the construction of 11 aquatic feed production lines, mainly including raw material receiving and cleaning system, coarse crushing system, ingredient mixing system, ultrafine crushing system, granule line system, puffing and drying system, packaging system, spray cooling system, powder return system, etc. The main buildings include workshops, warehouses, equipment rooms, boiler rooms, comprehensive buildings, dormitories, etc.

The third phase of the project is designed to produce 395,400 tons of extruded fish feed and 192,000 tons of shrimp feed pellets per year.

Project energy consumption and main energy efficiency indicators: After the project is completed and put into production, the annual comprehensive energy consumption shall not exceed 18,581 tons of standard coal, of which the annual electricity consumption shall not exceed 58.24 million kWh and the biomass molding fuel consumption shall not exceed 19,937 tons; the comprehensive energy consumption per unit product of shrimp feed (pelleting) of the project shall not exceed 19.67 kg of standard coal/ton, and the comprehensive energy consumption per unit product of puffed fish feed shall not exceed 37.44 kg of standard coal/ton.

The main construction content includes forage processing workshop, raw material warehouse, finished product warehouse, concentrated feed warehouse, water supply station, boiler room, comprehensive building, etc., with a total construction area of ​​7,890 square meters.

The area where the project is located requires 350,000 tons of forage and more than 200,000 tons of feed for fattening each year, which provides a broad market prospect for the sales of products after the implementation of the project. At present, most of the forage feed for cattle and sheep in the local area is transferred from other places and processed by farmers themselves.

The nutritional composition ratio of forage is unscientific, which reduces the feed-to-meat ratio and increases the breeding cost. Therefore, the project meets the development requirements of Saudi Arabia’s forage industry and local actual needs, reduces the feeding costs of farmers, increases the economic benefits of feeding, and promotes the healthy development of local cattle and sheep industries.

The project introduces processing equipment such as large-scale silage harvesters, high-efficiency dryers, precise batching mixers and automated packaging production lines, and adopts advanced forage processing technology. From the harvesting, transportation, storage to processing and packaging of raw materials, it follows strict quality control standards to ensure the stability and consistency of product quality.

After the project is running normally, the customer will transfer land to plant forage and sign forage planting and purchase contracts with local farmers, which will drive the development of the forage and livestock industry in the surrounding areas.
