The plant produces structured activated carbon composite pellets impregnated with potassium iodide for heavy metal capture in industrial air scrubbers.
The proprietary process combines coconut-shell activated carbon powder with ceramic binders through RICHI’s dual-stage conditioning and extrusion systems. Each pellet undergoes precision grading to achieve uniform gas flow characteristics crucial for filtration efficiency.
The project included a comprehensive R&D phase where RICHI engineers developed custom die configurations to achieve optimal pore structure. The pellets are now supplied to semiconductor manufacturing facilities across East Asia, representing a technological breakthrough in high-value industrial pellet applications.
