In order to ensure the independence of fuel supply and cost control, the customer commissioned the engineering consultant team to find and purchase a wood fuel pellet plant suitable for the scale of its greenhouse operation, and finally chose a full set of wood pellet processing equipment with a capacity of 1-1.2 tons/hour provided by our company.

Source of raw materials

The main raw materials selected by the customer are wood chips, shavings, small branches and wood chips generated in the forest area around the greenhouse operation and agricultural finishing process.

These raw materials have a wide distribution of particle sizes and different moisture contents, which puts high demands on the front-end processing system of the entire wood pellet production line in Netherlands.

In addition, in order to adapt to the greenhouse energy system’s requirements for high calorific value and low ash content of pellet fuel, the customer has also formulated standardized processes for raw material screening and storage.

This design effectively improves the linkage efficiency between equipment and reduces energy consumption during operation.

It is particularly worth mentioning that although the customer initially proposed two production capacity options of 1.5t/h and 3.5t/h, after detailed evaluation, they finally determined to use 1-1.2t/h, which is more suitable for their own operating rhythm, as the actual production scale, which not only ensures production continuity but also controls the initial investment cost.

In addition to producing wood pellets, this wood pellet production line in Netherlands also has the ability to adapt to a variety of materials.

With the flexibility of the pellet chamber structure and high-strength transmission system of the MZLH420 wood pellet machine, if the customer adjusts the source of raw materials in subsequent production, it can also process agricultural waste pellets such as straw pellets, coconut shell pellets, and fruit shell pellets.

This provides stable hardware support for its future expansion of the comprehensive utilization of agricultural by-products.

• Crushing system: using high-efficiency wood crusher, suitable for 30-50mm wood chip pretreatment;
• Drying system: rotary hot air drying equipment, with humidity control device, to achieve precise adjustment of moisture content;
• Granulation system: the main machine is MZLH420 wood pellet mill machine, with stable structure and dense and uniform discharge;
• Cooling system: countercurrent cooling tower, which can effectively reduce the temperature of pellets and improve storage stability;
• Screening system: double-layer vibrating screen, filter impurities, unify particle size;
• Packaging system: using intelligent weighing baler to meet different packaging specifications.

Market Prospect Analysis

In recent years, the Dutch government has vigorously promoted the use of renewable energy, especially in the agricultural field, providing rich policy support, such as the renewable heat energy subsidy (SDE+) plan, greenhouse energy-saving transformation fund, etc.
