NamePhysical and chemical properties
MethionineWhite crystalline powder with special smell; Melting point: 280-281℃ (decomposition); Relative density (water=1): 1.340; Stable to heat and air, unstable to strong acid, which may lead to demethylation; Soluble in water (3.3g/100ml, 25℃), dilute acid and dilute alkali, easily soluble in 95% ethanol, extremely difficult to dissolve in anhydrous ethanol, and almost insoluble in ether.
LysineWhite crystalline powder, almost odorless; easily soluble in water and formic acid, difficult to dissolve in ethanol and ether; Solubility (g/100ml water): 40 (0 degrees), 63 (20 degrees), 96 (40 degrees), 131 (60 degrees).

The process flow of livestock feed in this livestock feed mill in Ecuador project is as follows:

  1. Raw material reception: The bagged raw materials required for production are transported into the factory area by car, and after unloading and inspection, they are sent to the raw material warehouse for storage. The raw materials that need to be crushed are sent to the bucket elevator by the scraper conveyor and lifted to the production workshop for cleaning.
  2. Cleaning: Because the purchased raw materials contain a certain amount of impurities, they need to be cleaned before entering the production equipment. The screening equipment is mainly used to remove long and large impurities such as stones and mud in the raw materials.
  3. Crushing: Because the particle size of raw materials such as soybean meal is large, they need to be crushed to meet production requirements. The crushed raw materials are sent to different batching bins through distributors for temporary storage.
  4. Batching: This livestock feed mill in Ecuador project adopts an automatic batching system. The powder entering the warehouse will generate a certain amount of dust at the entrance and exit.
  5. Mixing: According to the feed formula requirements, various raw materials participating in the batching enter the mixer from the batching bin through the automatic batching system in turn for mixing and stirring.
  6. Granulation: The mixed materials enter the granulator, and the material temperature is adjusted to 70-90℃ by steam. This process takes about 20-40 seconds, and then the granulator is used to make granules of the required size. The heating steam required for this process comes from the supply of 4t/h steam boiler, and electric heating is adopted.
  7. Cooling: During the granulation process, high-temperature and high-humidity steam is introduced, and a large amount of heat is generated by the extrusion of materials. The pellet feed is easy to deform and break, and it will also produce adhesion and mildew during storage, so it must be cooled by a cold air blower.
  8. Packaging: The cooled granules enter the finished product warehouse and are packaged and stored by the automatic packaging machine.

① Water Supply

The boiler water consumption of this livestock feed mill in Ecuador project is 500t/a. The project has 40 employees and the domestic water consumption is 1200t/a. The company has built a new municipal pipe network to meet the water demand.

② Drainage

The drainage of this project adopts rainwater and sewage diversion, and rainwater is discharged into the municipal rainwater pipe network through the rainwater pipe network. Domestic sewage is 960t/a, and enters the sewage pipe network after passing through the septic tank.

③ Power Supply

The power consumption of this project is about 3 million kW·h/a, and the new transformer is 1500kVA.

④ Heating

The granulation process of this livestock feed mill in Ecuador project uses a 4t/h boiler for heating, which is heated by electricity and does not use other fuels and energy.

⑤ Waste Gas

The dust waste gas generated during the cleaning, crushing, batching, mixing, and granulation cooling of this project is collected by the hood + pulse bag dust collector, and then discharged from the 15m high exhaust pipe. The project generates a small amount of dust during loading and unloading, which is discharged as unorganized.

⑥ Noise control facilities

The production equipment of this project generates noise. It is planned to take measures such as factory sound insulation and foundation shock absorption to reduce the noise at the factory boundary and ensure that the noise meets the emission standards.

⑦Solid waste disposal

The impurities generated during the raw material cleaning process of this project account for about 0.2‰ of the total materials, about 48.2t/a; the dust collected by the bag dust collector of the feed production line of the project and the dust settled in the workshop generate about 9.32t/a, all of which are reused for production; the project generates about 6t/a of waste packaging materials, which are sold for comprehensive utilization; the project has 40 employees and generates 12t/a of domestic waste, which is collected and processed by the sanitation department.
