Overview

In this 1-2 t/h dog food production line in Kazakhstan project, the characteristics of dog feed are fine grinding fineness (requires 60-80 mesh), high requirements for ripening and tempering, high oil content (adopting a refueling method combining mixer + puffing machine + powder spraying), and a wide range of finished product particle diameters (particle diameter is about 0.6-20mm).

The designed hourly output of this project is 2T/H, and the process of first batching and then crushing is adopted, that is, one batching, one pre-mixing and crushing, two micro-crushing, two mixing, puffing, drying and powder spraying, cooling, and finished product packaging.

The total power of the whole set of equipment in this pet food production line project is about: 505KW; the building area of the production area is about 19×12×19m (height); and it is equipped with a 1.5T boiler. The whole pet feed line is compactly designed, reasonably structured, meets environmental protection requirements, and is completely designed according to the requirements of Kazakhstan customers.

Process design of Kazakhstan dog feed production line

This 1-2 t/h dog food production line in Kazakhstan project will automatically weigh the raw and auxiliary materials according to the formula requirements, and then send them into the hopper for mixing and stirring. Then they will be crushed by the crusher, and then granulated and expanded into pelletized feed, and then dried in the pet food dryer, cooled by the air cooler, and packaged after oil spraying to be the finished product.

In this section, the pellet feeding and cleaning and powder feeding and cleaning are separated and dusted separately, with good dust removal effect.

This section uses 10 batching bins and a batching scale for batching. The batching program independently developed by our company is controlled to achieve accurate fast and slow feeding, fast batching speed and high precision.

Since the raw materials of pet food have a high fat and oil content, it will be difficult for the crusher to crush a single raw material with high fat content if the conventional process of first powder and then batching is adopted, so the process of first batching and then crushing is generally adopted.

This section uses a ribbon mixer for premixing to improve the uniformity of the material before crushing; a magnetic separation device is used to remove impurities before the raw materials enter the crusher to ensure the safe operation of the crusher.

Since the pet food extruder machine has a relatively high requirement for the fineness of the raw materials, generally 60-80 mesh, this section uses a micro-crusher, adopts wind-type discharging, equipped with a brake, a pulse dust collector, and the crushing fineness can be adjusted.

This section uses two secondary batching bins, a mixer, and a small material addition port.

This section uses a twin-screw extruder, and a round silo to be extruded is set above the pet food extruder, and a disc feeder is equipped to prevent the material from arching and discharge smoothly.

This section uses a customized mixed powder spraying equipment, and two weight-reducing silos are set before entering the equipment to meet the control of the batching ratio.

Powder spraying solves the problem that the amount of grease added to the material in the early stage should not be too much and cannot meet the requirements of the amount of grease added. The feed after spraying has a good appearance, strong palatability and strong nutrition.

Finally, it is screened and packaged after cooling in a pendulum cooler.

Dust removal system, dust removal at the packaging port, improve the working environment of workers; grease addition system, water addition system, improve feed palatability.
