The biomass pellet processing process designed by us for this biomass pellet manufacturing plant in New Zealand project is as follows:

The raw and auxiliary materials of this project are mainly purchased sawn timber, shavings, straw, demolition materials, waste scraps, etc.

After being temporarily stored in the raw material area, it is conveyed to the crusher by a belt for crushing, and the crushed materials are sent to the crusher by a conveyor belt for crushing.

The crushed materials are naturally air-dried.

The air-dried materials are then extruded and granulated by a biomass fuel pellet machine. The crushed materials are fed into the extrusion bin of the biomass pellet making machine by the feed hopper, and the crushed materials are squeezed into the inner hole of the mold by the pressure roller. The hot extrusion molding of the mold generates heat during the extrusion molding process, which is about 40°C. The heat generated dries the moisture in the materials to meet the product requirements. The extruded materials are cut into cylindrical particles at the exit of the pellet machine. The whole process is physical extrusion molding without adding any binder.

The finished products coming out of the discharge port are naturally cooled and stored for sale.

This biomass pellet manufacturing plant in New Zealand project is divided into production and processing plant, raw material area, finished product warehouse, office and living area. The production and processing plant is located on the north side of the factory. Crusher, pulverizer and other equipment are arranged in sequence according to the process flow. The pelletizing process is on the north side of the finished product warehouse to facilitate internal material transportation.

The finished product warehouse is located on the south side of the east side, next to the production and processing plant, close to the factory entrance and exit, convenient for transportation. The raw material area is located on the south side of the west side, the factory entrance and exit are located on the southeast side, and the living and office area is located on the southwest side of the factory, upwind of the local wind direction.

In summary, the overall layout of this project is basically based on the needs of the production process, and the site conditions are reasonably utilized. The material flow is smooth and short, and the functional division is clear. See Figure 2 for a schematic diagram of the project layout.
