Water supply

The water supply of the project comes from the municipal tap water network. The water used during the biomass pellet production line project operation period is mainly for the living water of employees.

Living water: The straw pellets granules line in Ecuador project has a labor quota of 40 people. There is no canteen or dormitory in the factory area. The living water consumption is calculated at 50L/person/shift, so the living water consumption is 2m3/d (600m3/a).

Drainage

This project adopts “rainwater and sewage separation, clean sewage separation”, and rainwater is collected by the rainwater pipe network and discharged into the nearby river.

No production wastewater is generated and discharged during the project operation period; domestic sewage is treated in a septic tank and used as fertilizer for surrounding farmland after treatment, and is not discharged.

The domestic sewage discharge coefficient is calculated as 80%, and the domestic sewage discharge is 1.6m3/d (480m3/a).

Power supply

The power supply of the project is drawn from the municipal power line. After being transformed by the factory transformer, it can meet the electricity demand of the enterprise, with an annual power consumption of 200,000 kWh.

Storage and transportation

The raw materials and products of this straw pellet plant project are transported by car when entering and leaving the factory, and the raw materials and products are placed in the production workshop.

The main raw materials for the biomass pellets produced by this straw pellets granules line in Ecuador project are straw, rice husks, sawdust, wood blocks, branches, etc. The raw materials are pressed into a solid biomass pellet that can be directly burned by passing through crushers, grinders, pelletizers and other equipment in sequence.

① Chipping & Cutting

After entering the factory, the raw materials are temporarily piled up in the raw material yard, and the raw materials are grabbed by a grabber and put on the conveyor belt of the crusher. Crushing dust is generated when the raw materials are crushed.

② Crushing

The crushed raw materials are shoveled to the feeding port by a forklift. The crushed materials in the feeding port are transported to the closed crusher through a closed conveyor belt. Crushing dust is generated when the crusher is crushed, and the crusher collects dust in a closed manner (the feed port of the crusher and the belt for conveying the crushed materials are fully closed).

③ Granulation

The material after crushing by the pulverizer is transported to the biomass straw pellet machine through a closed belt. The material generates heat in the pelletizer through friction between the machine and the biomass raw materials and between the biomass raw materials.

The material temperature can reach about 60~70℃, which softens the lignin and squeezes it out of the die hole to obtain solid biomass pellets with a diameter of 1cm and a length of 5~6cm. In this process, the pelletizer will produce some dust during the pelletizing process, and the dust generated by the pelletizer is collected in a closed manner. There are 4 biomass pelletizers in the project.

④ Finished product storage

The molded biomass pellets made by the pelletizer are then transported to the cooling box through a sealed conveyor belt for natural cooling. The cooled products are transported to the packaging area through a conveyor belt, and the packaged finished products are temporarily stacked in the workshop.

The project covers an area of 11,200 square meters and a total construction area of 2,000 square meters.

The project builds a factory building, and the layout of each area in the workshop is arranged according to the production process, which reduces the transportation of materials during the production process, not only saving costs and time, but also making the layout of the workshop compact, greatly promoting the production efficiency of the project. The general layout meets the production and fire protection needs, so the general layout of the project is reasonable.
