The client of this 5t/h rice husk pellet plant in Pakistan project is an energy company. It invested 80,000 US dollars to build a new “biomass pellet production project”. The project covers an area of ​​about 2,500 m2. It uses the idle factory buildings of the client and replans them. It does not involve the construction of new houses.

After the project is completed, it is expected to produce 12,000 tons of biomass pellets annually. The project has a fixed staff of 12 people, working 300 days a year, single-shift production, and one shift is 8 hours.

Biomass fuel refers to the burning of biomass materials as fuel, generally mainly agricultural and forestry waste (such as straw, sawdust, bagasse, rice bran, etc.), which is mainly different from fossil fuels.

The application of biomass fuel is actually mainly biomass pellet fuel, which is a new type of clean fuel that uses agricultural and forestry waste as raw materials, and is made into various shapes (such as blocks, granules, etc.) through processes such as crushing, mixing, extrusion, and drying, and can be directly burned.

The process flow we designed for this rice husk pellet plant in Pakistan project is as follows:

  1. Conveying and feeding:
    Use a forklift to push the raw rice husk (water content of about 12%) from the raw material yard to the suction port, and then the raw rice husk is sent into the ring pellet machine by the spiral transmission equipment of the ring pellet machine.
  2. Granulation:
    The raw material is sent into the rice husk fuel pellet making machine through the spiral transmission equipment, and the finished product is made by extrusion. The extrusion process is a physical process, without adding any adhesives, and no chemical reaction occurs. Except for the connection of the spiral transmission equipment and the discharge port, the equipment is sealed.
  3. Cooling:
    The biomass pellets after granulation are cooled by the cooler so that their temperature can reach the conditions for packaging and storage.
  4. Packaging and warehousing:
    After cooling, the biomass pellets are packaged and stored in the finished product area.

The production plant of this rice husk pellet plant in Pakistan project is equipped with a granulation area and a raw material yard. The entrances and exits of the plant are located on the west and south sides of the plant. Aisles are set up in the production plant according to the location of the entrances and exits and around the raw material yard.
