RICHI Machinery has partnered with a French artisan pet food manufacturer to install an 8 T/H premium pet feed production line in Brittany. The facility produces extruded and pelletized diets for dogs and cats using locally sourced duck, rabbit, and ancient grains, meeting the growing demand for transparent, regionally sourced pet nutrition.

The line features RICHI’s gentle low-temperature extrusion technology preserving protein quality and natural flavors. A unique dual-drying system combines vacuum drying for moisture control and infrared finishing for palatability enhancement. The packaging line includes individual portion sealing with nitrogen flushing, extending shelf life without artificial preservatives.

Certified for both human-grade and organic production, the facility supplies specialty pet stores across Western Europe. The project has created 45 skilled positions in a rural region while establishing new standards for sustainable pet food manufacturing, with 95% of ingredients sourced within 200 kilometers.
