In order to further carry out Vietnam’s zero-growth action on fertilizer use, accelerate the promotion of green agricultural development, and actively respond to the call of Vietnam’s agricultural department, the project client, an agricultural company, invested 320,000 US dollars and purchased production equipment to implement an annual production of 30,000 tons of biological organic fertilizer construction project.

It is worth mentioning that the client of this project owns multiple farms, and the organic fertilizer production line project will be built in an idle pig farm. The original pig farm has 1 production workshop, 1 office and toilet septic tank. The labor quota of this project is 10 people. The project implements a one-shift system, working 8 hours a day and 250 days a year.

The organic fertilizer production plant in Vietnam project uses existing factory buildings to purchase organic fertilizer production equipment. This project mainly relies on the original production workshop of the project as the processing area and raw material storage area.

The office uses the original one, and the toilet and septic tank use the original one. In addition, a new potted plant display area, experimental field and a finished product storage warehouse are built. The factory building area is 1547.4m2, with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of biological organic fertilizers. The specific construction content is as shown in the following table.

All raw materials for this organic fertilizer production plant in Vietnam project must be fully fermented and the moisture content must be less than or equal to 30%. All raw materials are piled in the raw material storage yard. The maximum storage capacity of the storage yard is about 1,000 tons.

However, in general, raw materials are purchased according to orders and produced immediately after purchase. All raw materials and finished products of this project are implemented in accordance with Vietnam’s “Organic Fertilizer” standards, with organic matter≥45%. The organic fertilizer production plant in Vietnam project purchases fermented raw materials, which are processed by crushing, mixing, sieving and other processes before packaging and shipment. The details are as follows:

  1. Proportion: The fully fermented raw materials are mixed according to the product formula.
  2. Crushing: The prepared raw materials are mixed together and crushed by a crusher. The crusher is fully sealed with a cover. If the raw materials are too dry and cause dust, septic tank sewage can be added to reduce dust.
  3. Mixing: The crushed raw materials are mixed evenly by a disc mixer.
  4. Screening: The stirred raw materials are sifted, and the large particles are re-screened and crushed.
  5. Weighing and packaging: The processed finished products are weighed and packaged according to different specifications.

The organic fertilizer production plant in Vietnam project covers an area of 2688m2. The east side is the processing workshop, which includes the proportioning workshop, the sub-packaging workshop, the finished product workshop, and the proportioning workshop.

The north side is the raw material storage yard, the north side of the storage yard is the experimental field, the west side is the factory office, and the employee dormitory living area (2F) is across the road. The septic tank is located in the basement of the dormitory building, and mechanical ventilation equipment is installed in each workshop.

(1) Water supply

Domestic water is supplied by the local tap water network, and the annual domestic water consumption is about 300t.

(2) Drainage

This organic fertilizer production plant in Vietnam project does not discharge sewage. The project wastewater comes from domestic sewage, with a total production of 1.98t/d, or 475.2t/a. The factory is equipped with a septic tank, and the domestic sewage is collected and treated in the septic tank and used as agricultural fertilizer.

The power supply of this project is provided by the local power supply system, which can meet the power requirements.
