RICHI MACHINERY has successfully commissioned a 6 T/H layer feed production line in central Mexico, designed to optimize egg production and shell quality in commercial poultry operations.

Market Background

Mexico’s egg production sector is growing steadily, driven by domestic demand. Layer operations require feed with precise protein, calcium, and vitamin content to ensure consistent egg output and shell integrity.

Formulation and Raw Materials

The feed uses:

• Corn, wheat, and barley for energy
• Soybean meal for protein
• Limestone and oyster shell for calcium
• Vitamins and trace minerals

Pellet size and hardness are optimized to improve intake efficiency and reduce waste.

Line Configuration

The production line includes:

• Raw material silos and batching systems
• Hammer mill and twin-shaft mixer
• SZLH series feed pellet mill
• Cooling and screening units
• Bagging and palletizing

Moisture control is critical to maintain pellet durability, with finished pellets maintained at 10–12% moisture.

Installation and Commissioning

Equipment was delivered in October 2025. Installation and alignment were completed by November. Trial production confirmed consistent output at 6 T/H, uniform pellet quality, and high durability.
