However, traditional solvent-extracted soybean meal cannot fully meet the demand for high-digestibility protein in poultry starter feed and aquatic feed.
The client is a local agricultural product processor and feed ingredient distributor serving poultry farms and small feed mills in Java and Sumatra. Before investing in this extruded soybean production line in Indonesia, the company mainly traded imported soybean meal. Technical Description
Raw Material Handling
Soybeans are unloaded into receiving pits and transported via screw conveyor to storage silos. The raw beans meet strict quality requirements: moisture <13%, impurity <0.1%.
Screening
Vibrating screen removes stones and damaged beans. Impurities are collected as solid waste.
Crushing
The hammer mill operates under slight negative pressure. Dust is collected by a bag filter.
Steam Conditioning & Wet Extrusion
Steam consumption: 0.3 m³/hour.
The extruder generates heat through mechanical shear and steam injection. Temperature increases rapidly, destroying anti-nutritional factors.
Cooling and Drying
The flap cooler reduces moisture and temperature. Dust is collected by cyclone and discharged through a 15m stack.
