The project has a designed production capacity of 6,000 tons of wood cat litter pellets per year.

The cat litter production line has 5 employees, working 300 days a year, single shift every day, 8 hours per shift. The construction period of this project is: August 2024 to September 2024. It has been installed and put into production.

This wood cat litter pellet mill plant project has no production wastewater, and the project’s water use is mainly domestic water.

According to the project plan, after the completion of this project, due to production needs, there will be 5 production workers, none of whom will live in the factory. The project has 300 working days per year, and the domestic water consumption is 0.25m3/d (i.e. 75t/a).

The discharge coefficient is 0.8, so the domestic sewage discharge is 0.2m3/d, i.e. 60m3/a. The domestic sewage of the project is used as agricultural fertilizer after being treated in a septic tank and is not discharged.

General layout

The main entrance of this complete pine pellet production line in Kazakhstan project is located on the southwest side of the factory area. The factory area is arranged with office area, production workshop, finished product storage area (located in the production workshop) and raw material yard (located in the production workshop).

Wood crushers, wood pulverizers and biomass pellet machines are arranged in the production workshop according to the process flow. Pine Wood Cat Litter Pellet Processing Process

The main production process of the project is briefly described as follows:

The main raw materials of the project are waste wood and pine sawdust. There is no drying process and no sawing process. The raw materials are purchased locally.

1. Shredding: The raw materials are transported by car to the raw material warehouse of the project site for stacking. The raw materials are sent to the wood crusher by a wood grabber for preliminary crushing into smaller block materials.
2. Crushing: The crushed block materials are sent to the wood crusher by a conveyor for crushing. The particle size after crushing is not more than 7mm. The crushed materials are sent to the drum screen for screening.
3. Granulation: The crushed materials are transported to the cat litter pellet machine and formed into finished products by extrusion. The extrusion process is a physical process. No adhesive is added and no chemical reaction occurs. Except for the connection of the feeding auger and the feed and discharge ports, they are all sealed.
4. Packaging and warehousing: The formed biomass pellets are transported to the finished product warehouse by a closed conveyor belt for cooling, manually packaged, and stored in the finished product warehouse for sale.
