Capacity matching analysis:
The biomass pelletizing line in Australia project has 1 biomass fuel/chip production line. The capacity is mainly limited by various production equipment. The project has 2 dust-proof shredders, 2 crushers, and 8 biomass pellet making machines.
The dust-proof shredder only performs simple crushing of raw materials (waste wood, branch tips, agricultural and forestry residues, straw). The raw materials are larger after crushing and take less time. The crushing capacity of each machine is 30t/h and 5t/h respectively. If it works 8 hours a day and 300 days a year, the maximum production capacity is 84,000 t/a, which is greater than 80,000 tons of raw materials and can meet the capacity requirements.
The crusher thoroughly crushes the larger raw materials after preliminary crushing to facilitate subsequent pressing and molding. The crushing capacity of a single machine is 8t/h. If it works 8 hours a day and 300 days a year, the maximum crushing capacity is 38,400 t/a, which is greater than 35,000 t/a and can meet the capacity requirements.
The pelletizing capacity of a single molding machine in the biomass pellet production line is 2t/h, working 8 hours a day and 300 days a year, so the maximum production capacity is 38,400t/a, which is greater than the 35,000t/a of biomass pellets, and can meet the production capacity requirements. In summary, the main production equipment of the project, the biomass pellet production line, can meet the needs of this biomass pelletizing line in Australia project.

Plane layout
This biomass pellet plant in Australia project uses the existing factory buildings for production. The total area of the factory is about 6,000 square meters (the building area is about 4,500 square meters). The production workshop and office area (part of the office in the comprehensive building) are used for production. The west side of the production workshop is the molding area and the molding biomass pellet yard.
From west to east, there are crushing and crushing processes, and there is a raw material yard on the south side. The entrance and exit of the factory area is located on the south side of the factory area, which is convenient for material transportation and reduces the transportation path.
The various production stations are coordinated with each other and do not interfere with each other. The office area and the production area are separated and located on the dominant wind side of the production area.
From the project plan layout, it can be seen that its pedestrian, vehicle and freight routes are clear. The plant plan layout is conducive to the production collaboration of various departments during the project production and operation, and improves production efficiency. In general, the overall plan layout of the biomass pelletizing plant project is relatively reasonable.

Design of process flow of biomass pelleting line
The process flow of this biomass pelletizing line in Australia project is briefly described as follows:
- Temporary storage in the yard:
The raw materials of this project (waste wood, wood chips, branch tips, agricultural and forestry residues, straw) are located in the closed raw material yard after entering the factory.
The wood chips are packed in ton bags for storage. The sizes of waste wood, branch tips, agricultural and forestry residues, and straw other than wood chips are basically between 8cm×9 cm~9cm×30 cm. The stacking area is fenced or in the form of a material pit. No waste gas is generated during the storage process and the loading and unloading process. - Shredding:
Use a forklift to transport the raw materials (waste wood, branch tips, agricultural and forestry residues, straw) in the closed raw material warehouse to the feed pit of the dustproof shredder for preliminary crushing. The crushing size is 5-20cm; the dustproof shredder is sealed and covered when crushing. - Crushing:
The raw materials with a shape of 5-20cm after the first crushing are transferred to the transfer yard for temporary storage through a closed conveyor belt, and then the raw materials that have been crushed for the first time are transferred to the crushing area of the crusher through a closed cage, and the crusher is used for the second crushing.
The formed biomass fragments after the second crushing are directly transported to the ton bag for temporary storage in the formed biomass fragment yard, and the crusher is sealed and covered during the crushing process. - Granulation:
According to product needs, the formed biomass fragments after the second crushing are directly transported to the ton bag for temporary storage in the formed biomass fragment yard, or the packaged formed biomass fragments are transferred by forklift through the closed conveyor in the biomass wood pellet production line to the biomass pellet machine for physical extrusion to form block or granular products.
No chemical substances are added in the pelletizing process, and they are simply extruded and finally separated through the discharge port. This biomass pelletizing line in Australia project will set up a gas hood above the molding machine (inlet and outlet) and the baling machine (inlet and outlet) to collect dust, and the treated waste gas will be discharged from a 15m high exhaust pipe after being treated by a cyclone dust collector + bag dust collector. - Finished product storage:
The formed biomass fuel/crushed material is directly transported to ton bags, and then stored for sale after packaging.
