• Office and living area: mainly comprehensive office space, analytical laboratory, etc.

The cat litter production line in Mexico project works 300 days a year. Except for management personnel, other production workers and auxiliary workers are on one shift, eight hours per shift. Each shift and room are set up for duty and maintenance to ensure normal production. The enterprise labor quota is 15 people.

Construction scale and content

The cat litter bentonite making line in Mexico project covers an area of 20 acres, with a production workshop of 1200m², a warehouse of 200m², an office and dormitory of 150m², and other ancillary projects of 60m². 17 sets of production equipment are purchased and installed, with an annual output of 6,000 tons of bentonite cat litter. Energy supply and consumption

The energy consumption of this cat litter bentonite making line in Mexico project is mainly coal, which is used as fuel for the drying furnace. The coal is planned to be Pingzhuang Class II bituminous coal, with a consumption of 200t/a. The coal quality analysis is shown in the table below.

Introduction to bentonite cat litter process flow

Based on the customer’s raw material and product requirements, the bentonite cat litter processing plan we designed for this cat litter bentonite making line in Mexico project is as follows:

1. First, add 2% industrial soda ash to the purchased bentonite ore (water content is about 30%) in the drying yard, stir evenly and dry naturally until the water content is not higher than 20%;
2. Use a crusher for initial crushing, add it to the feed port of the Raymond mill through a bucket elevator, grind it to the specified particle size and enter the cat litter bentonite granules making machine for granulation.
3. The granular product can enter the drying furnace for drying.
4. When it is dried to a moisture content of less than 5%, it enters the drum screen for screening according to different particle sizes.
5. The qualified particle size products can be filled by the filling machine and then stored. The products with too small particle size are returned to the cat litter granulator.

Most of the cat litter making machines used in this project was purchased from RICHI, but the bentonite processing equipment, such as crushers and Raymond mills, are second-hand equipment purchased by customers from other manufacturers. Public auxiliary projects and supporting projects

1) Water supply

The water used in this cat litter bentonite making line in Mexico project is mainly domestic water, greening water and unforeseen water. During the production process, the flue gas of the drying furnace needs to be desulfurized and dusted. The circulating water volume is 2t, the replenishment volume is 0.3t/d, and the annual water consumption is 92t/a.

The company has a fixed number of 15 people, and the domestic water consumption is 60L/person·day. The annual production is 300 days, so the water consumption is 0.9m³/d, 270m³/a. Greening water and unforeseen water consumption are estimated at 50% of the domestic water consumption, and the water consumption is 135m³/a. In summary, the total water consumption of this project is 497m³/a.

2) Drainage

There is no wastewater discharge in the production process of this project, and the discharged wastewater is domestic sewage. The amount of domestic sewage generated is calculated as 80% of the water consumption, so the amount of domestic sewage generated is 0.72m³/d, 216m³/a. The factory area is equipped with an impermeable septic tank, which is regularly pumped to the nearby rural fertilizer accumulation point for fertilizer utilization, and no external discharge is allowed.

3) Power supply

A new 10 kV line is connected to the power grid outside the factory area, and an 800 kVA transformer is installed in the factory area. After transformation, it is distributed to each power unit through the distribution room. The total installed power is 113 kW, of which the installed power of the production unit is 93 kW, and the installed power of the lighting unit is 20 kW. The annual power consumption is 65.5×10⁴kWh.
