RICHI MACHINERY has successfully launched a 10-ton-per-hour poultry feed production line in northern Vietnam, aimed at meeting the rising demand for high-quality feed for broiler and layer operations across Southeast Asia.

Market Background

Vietnam’s poultry industry is expanding rapidly due to domestic consumption and export opportunities. Farmers increasingly demand standardized, nutritionally balanced feed to maximize growth rates, egg production, and feed conversion efficiency.

The customer sought a turnkey solution capable of producing multiple feed formulations, including starter, grower, and finisher diets, with precise nutrient composition and pellet integrity.

Raw Material and Formulation

The line uses:

• Corn and wheat as energy sources
• Soybean meal and fish meal for protein
• Limestone, vitamins, and mineral premixes
• Vegetable oils for energy and pellet binding

Feed composition is carefully balanced to optimize growth while minimizing digestive stress in birds.

Process Design and Technical Features

The production line features:

• Automated raw material intake and storage silos
• Computer-controlled batching system
• Hammer mill for particle size uniformity
• Twin-shaft mixer ensuring CV below 5%
• Steam-conditioning and SZLH series feed pellet mill
• Counterflow cooler and vibrating screening system
• Bagging and palletizing

Moisture content of finished pellets is maintained at 11%, with pellet durability exceeding 90%.

Installation and Commissioning

Equipment was delivered in December 2025. RICHI technicians completed mechanical installation and electrical integration by January 2026. Trial production confirmed stable throughput at 10 T/H, and operators received extensive training on formula adjustments and equipment maintenance.
