RICHI MACHINERY is currently overseeing installation of a 20 T/H compound feed production plant in central Mexico, targeting multi-species livestock operations including poultry, swine, and cattle.
Market Context
Mexico’s livestock sector is experiencing rapid modernization, with increasing demand for compound feed that integrates energy, protein, and micro-ingredients in precise formulations. Consistent feed quality is essential for growth, reproductive performance, and overall farm profitability.
Raw Material and Formulation
The plant will process corn, soybean meal, wheat bran, and other energy-protein ingredients, along with vitamins, minerals, and specialty additives. Precision premix integration ensures uniform nutrient distribution.
Plant Design and Equipment
The 20 T/H plant includes:
- Automated raw material receiving and silos
- High-capacity hammer mills
- Twin-shaft mixers
- Steam-conditioned SZLH series pellet mills
- Counterflow coolers
- Vibrating screen
- Bagging, palletizing, and warehouse management
Automation systems allow real-time tracking of formulations, feed density, and moisture, ensuring consistent quality for multiple livestock species.
Installation and Timeline
Mechanical installation is ongoing, with electrical integration scheduled to complete by February 2026. Trial production and operator training will follow, aiming for full commercial operation in March.
Benefits for Livestock Operations
The plant provides standardized, high-quality feed tailored to multiple species, improving feed efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting sustainable livestock production. The project highlights RICHI’s capability in designing large-scale, flexible compound feed plants for diversified farming systems.
