Fresh pellets have a moisture content of 18–22%, which is reduced to below 10% using a rotary drum dryer fueled by biomass or natural gas. The dried pellets are then cooled in a counterflow cooler to ambient temperature, preventing condensation during storage.
5. Screening and Packaging
Pellets are screened to remove fines and oversized particles. Qualified pellets are transported to automatic bagging machines with a capacity of 2,000 bags/day (50 kg per bag), ready for market distribution.
