On July 30, 2024, the annual production of 50,000 tons of biomass wood pellet manufacturing plant project invested and constructed by a well-known local building materials company in Russia was officially put into production. The enterprise completed the process from negotiation and signing, site rental, company registration, project environmental assessment, machine installation and commissioning to formal production in just 3 months. The project plans to invest a total of US$2.1 million, and the construction method is divided into two phases.

This 50,000-ton annual wood pellet making line project will produce more than 20,000 tons of biomass pellet fuel in the first year after production, more than 25,000 tons of biomass pellet fuel in the second year, more than 30,000 tons of biomass pellet fuel in the third year, and reach an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of biomass pellet fuel and supporting stoves in the fourth year and subsequent years, with an annual tax revenue of more than 1.5 million yuan.

Biomass pellet fuel is a compressed pellet fuel made from agricultural residues such as straw, rice husks, tea branches and wood processing residues such as sawdust under specific conditions. It has the advantages of high calorific value, high purity, no sulfur and phosphorus, clean and hygienic. Compared with traditional fuels, it not only has economic advantages but also environmental benefits, fully meets the requirements of sustainable development, and is of great significance to improving economic growth, improving the ecological environment, and promoting energy conservation and emission reduction.
