Recently, the Indian annual production of 50,000 tons of biomass pellet production line project undertaken by RICHI is about to start construction. The project is planned to cover an area of 3 acres, with a total investment of 1.6 million US dollars and a construction period of 1 year.
The pellet machine line project can process a large amount of agricultural and forestry waste such as crop straw and fruit tree branches, 70,000 tons per year, with an annual output value of nearly 10 million US dollars, and can directly arrange employment for more than 30 people.
I. Main factory hardware facilities and factory building scale
- Raw material storage workshop 1,000 square meters;
- Biomass pellet fuel production and pressing workshop 1,000 square meters;
- Finished product storage workshop 1,000 square meters;
- More than 20 pellet production line equipment, about 670,000 US dollars

- 30,000 tons of cylindrical pellet fuel pressed by pellet machine;
- 20,000 tons of block pellet fuel pressed by straw briquetting machine;
Compared with traditional energy, biomass pellet fuel has the following advantages:
- Biomass pellet fuel has high calorific value.
- Biomass pellet fuel has high purity and does not contain other impurities that do not generate heat. Its carbon content is 75-85%, ash content is 3-6%, and water content is 1-3%. It absolutely does not contain coal gangue, stones and other impurities that do not generate heat but consume heat, which will directly reduce costs for enterprises.
- Biomass pellet fuel does not contain sulfur and phosphorus, does not corrode boilers, can extend the service life of boilers, and enterprises will benefit greatly.
- Since biomass pellet fuel does not contain sulfur and phosphorus, it does not produce sulfur dioxide and phosphorus pentoxide when burned, so it will not cause acid rain, pollute the atmosphere, and pollute the environment.
- Biomass pellet fuel is clean and hygienic, easy to feed, reduces the labor intensity of workers, greatly improves the working environment, and enterprises will reduce the cost of labor.
- After burning biomass pellet fuel, there is very little ash, which greatly reduces the site for stacking coal ash and reduces the cost of ash discharge.
- The ash after burning biomass pellet fuel is a high-quality organic potash fertilizer with extremely high grade, which can be recycled to create profits.
- Biomass pellet fuel is a renewable energy gifted by nature, which can create a conservation society.
After the completion of this biomass pellet plant project, it is not only to obtain returns for the investment of the customer company, but more importantly, to actively participate in environmental protection, reduce dependence on fossil resources, increase sustainable development, and create an ecological urban environment and conservation-oriented social mechanism atmosphere.
After the completion of the project, 100,000 tons of rural agricultural waste can be consumed each year, which will increase farmers’ income. It is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 65,000 tons and save 30,000 tons of standard coal each year.
